black pearl is bred from papa meilland and has a very intricate parentage with crosses from seven other rose varieties by delbard in france. large, perfectly formed, fully double blooms of velvety deep red are produced on a vigorous, bushy plant. black pearl blooms in flushes throughout the season in heavy clusters. this rose can also be grown in pots.
